Tyler Kersenbrock
Senior Project Manager
Tyler Kersenbrock graduated from Metro Tech in Omaha, NE, with a degree in Architectural Drafting and Design. He has over 25 years of experience in the off-site construction industry, starting in the engineering department of a system-built factory. He has held various roles, including Service Manager, Quality Control Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Chief Sales Manager. After transitioning to the retail side, Tyler specialized in mountain community building as a Sales Manager in Colorado. Now, as Senior Sales & Project Manager for IntelBuild Solutions, he custom designs and manages projects across multiple states.
Tyler’s passion is helping customers build their dream homes within budget. He’s been married for 20 years and is a father of three teenagers. His daughters compete in dance, and his son plays basketball and golf. In his free time, Tyler enjoys family trips to beaches and mountains and playing golf with his son. He is also a retired youth sports coach.
Meet The Team
James Laing II
CEO
James Laing has been around construction for most of his life. His Granddad was a carpenter and home builder among other things. He started doing construction lending with one of the first One-time close construction products in the market over 20 years ago and pioneered some of the two close hybrid product options. He has been involved in over 500 new construction building projects including spec homes, custom homes, investment property, multi-family, and commercial.
He entered the mortgage industry in 1999 with a degree in Business Marketing with an emphasis on Management from Southern Nazarene University. He quickly gained a reputation for his persistence in meeting clients’ needs through daily research of market rates and products. He has exhibited a natural ability to effectively structure loans and has worked with hundreds of loan officers and been a part of over 15,000 transactions to help structure the loans to make sure each client is getting the best deal for the situation. James has many years of corporate management with different organizations and loves leading Skyridge Lending’s group of Executives to help foster a new type of mortgage lender. His primary goal is to lead the effort to help people get out of debt as quickly and soundly as possible while also building wealth through strategic asset and wealth management.
James and his wife have six children who are homeschooled. They enjoy many activities together as a family: hiking, fishing, golfing, swimming, sports, traveling, church activities, and playing games at home.
Having visited Colorado for years, James and his family were excited to move to Colorado in 2012. He currently resides in the Creede, CO area and travels between projects and office locations in the Mountains across the State. The family enjoys trips from the Mountains to the Beaches and seeing the beautiful wildlife and nature all around the Country.

Aaron McAdow
Aaron McAdow has had a life-long passion for architecture, construction and responsible development, but they were merely “side-hustle” hobbies while he served as an officer in the US Army. His 22 years in uniform consisted of diverse assignments within the Special Operations community, multiple strategic commands, and the Pentagon. These assignments allowed him and his family to experience and learn from different cultures around the world.
During a brief break from active duty, Aaron worked with one of the largest homebuilders in Colorado where he established a military sales program. Although he soon returned to full active service, he continued to manage improvement home real estate projects across the front range of Colorado. By the time he retired from the military, he had acquired the experience needed to act as the General Contractor for the land development, architectural design, and complete construction of a one-of-a-kind fully custom home. In recent years, Aaron has served as the special projects manager and business development director for multiple defense contractors, and in his spare time he works to continually improve and expand the operations on their ranch.
Aaron has been married to his wife for 21 years, and they have three daughters and two sons that have been homeschooled around the world. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from Carson-Newman College, and his MBA from Norwich University. Aaron and his family love the outdoors and the arts, and they split their time between Colorado and their ranch in North Texas where they raise Scottish Highland Cattle.

Dusty Smith
Administrative Manager
Dusty is our Administrative Assistant. She has been involved in many industries and has found her niche in the Mortgage industry. She brings thirty years of administrative experience to our firm. She embraces her gifts of serving and teaching. She brought a fresh input to our operations three years ago. She provides support for our staff and borrowers throughout the lending process. She spends her free time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter. They enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, and most things outdoors. At home, she enjoys time with her goats and chickens and is an avid quilter.

KC Vasquez
KC is our Human Resource Generalist and Payroll Specialist. She has worked the majority of her career in banking and Human Resources and completed her HR Management degree while working in that field. She is dedicated to using her experience to support our staff and borrowers throughout the entire lending process. KC and her husband have two children and enjoy spending time outdoors. Playing sports, fishing, and hiking are some of their favorite activities. KC loves to spend her free time with her family and has a passion for travel.
